PC Check & Assessment:

Enroll in Your First Client Opportunity

Complete these final steps and you'll be on your way to earning your first paycheck.

1) Complete the Skills Assessment in Arise.

After your registration is finalized, log back in to Arise and click on “Client Opportunities.” At this point, you will be required to pass a skills assessment. The assessment asks a series of questions based on various customer service scenarios, assesses your English proficiency, and includes a microphone test.

This is a pass/fail test, and there is no time limit. Find a quiet place to work. Take all the time you need, and read the questions carefully. If you fail the test, you can retake it in 30 days. You must pass the assessment to gain access to your Arise portal and all open Client Opportunities.

2) Complete the PC Check.

Click “PC Check” in the upper right corner of your Arise portal and follow the prompts. This is an important step! You will not be able to enroll in training opportunities until your PC Check comes back clear. Some tips:

  • Use Google Chrome while running the PC Check.
  • We recommend a desktop PC that runs on Windows 11 with 8 GB RAM.
  • You must have a hard-wired internet connection, not a wireless connection, to pass the PC Check. ("Hard-wired" means your computer is connected to a modem/router via an ethernet cable.) Read the Equipment Policy here.
  • If you need equipment financing, we recommend a Windows 11 desktop setup from WAHES. Get Equipment Financing here.

3) Enroll in Training. Log into your portal and click on “Client Opportunities” to review the available openings, or review one of the daily Client Opportunity Emails sent to your inbox by KMF. Once you find one that you’re interested in, click “Enroll” and follow the prompts.

5) Pass training and begin servicing. Once you complete the training period with a client, you will sign your first Statement of Work (SOW) Contract. You will then set up direct deposit and your weekly work schedule, and begin to service that client. The money you earned during the second phase of training – “Earn While y Learn” – will be included in your first paycheck.

You have seven business days to complete the assessment, PC Check, and to enroll in a client opportunity.
